😁FutureFriday: Building Enthusiasm for the Workplace
FutureReady Friday is here! Helping your young people prepare for the future of work.
Hiya,
When it comes to preparing young people for the future of work, employers tell us enthusiasm matters.
It’s the quality that helps learners stand out, not because they know it all, but because they’re eager to learn and willing to contribute. (Not sulking in the chair with their hoods up wishing they were somewhere, anywhere, else.
Employers notice an enthusiastic prospect.
This week’s focus is Enthusiasm, a key quality in the foundation of our Future Skills Framework at miFuture and one of the seven core qualities employers tell us they value most.
📍 Skills Pyramid Reference
The Skills Pyramid is the foundation of everything we build at miFuture.
It supports young people to grow from personal qualities → soft skills → digital literacy → AI literacy → technical fluency.
This is how we invest in human potential for an AI-driven world.

🧠 Superpower Focus: Enthusiasm
Employers often say they can train skills, but not attitude.
Enthusiasm shows up as:
✅ Curiosity and a willingness to learn
✅ Asking questions and taking initiative
✅ Staying open to feedback
✅ Bringing energy to teamwork
It doesn’t mean being loud or overconfident.
It’s about showing genuine interest and effort - qualities that make people dependable, engaged, and employable.
